Bryce B. Bailey, 81, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Spectrum Lakeland Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 12 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Michael Roth officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma at a later date. Bryce was born on August 29, 1937, in Benton Harbor, to Chester & Gladys (Schuller) Bailey. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1955. On February 19, 1966, Bryce married the love of his life, Betty Mack. For over 39 years, he was a General Foreman at Benton Harbor Engineering and a few years later he retired from DT Peer. Bryce loved all outdoor activities. He enjoyed deer hunting and snowmobiling with his family at their cabin in Baldwin, MI, salmon fishing and camping. He also liked watching NASCAR and cheering on the University of Michigan football team.
Bryce is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betty; sons, Bryce (Jean) Bailey of Allendale, MI and Bryan Bailey of Benton Harbor; grandchildren, Alexa & Bryce (Cameron) Bailey; and brother, Beryl (Marylee) Bailey.
Bryce was preceded in death by his parents, Chester & Gladys; sister, Beverly (Ronald) Parrott; and brothers-in-law, Duane Mack and Robert Sisson.
