Robert Lee Hill

Robert Lee (Bob) Hill, 86, of Baroda, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018, at his home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, on Friday, October 26, 2018, at 12:00 P.M. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Bob was born on July 16, 1932, to Robert and Mary Lee (Miller) Hill in Leachville, AR. On March 8, 1952, he married Rosemary Williams in Benton Harbor at the Methodist Peace Temple.  Bob worked as an Electrician at Bendix and Allied Signal and retired after 25 years of service.  Bob was a member of the local UAW and also a founding member of the Southwest Michigan Car Club, his favorite car was a 1933 Plymouth Coupe. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Bob is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rosemary Hill of Baroda; children, Scott (Karen) Hill of Hockley, TX, and Lynette Foster of Grand Rapids; sisters, Patricia Hill and Sue (John) Bogdon; two grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents Robert and Mary Lee Hill.
