Janet Marie Polstin

Janet M. Polstin, 72, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. Janet was born on September 20, 1946 in Benton Harbor, MI to Charles & Mary (Lotsbaich) Polstin. She was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School class of 1964. Janet worked at Clark Equipment, then Whirlpool for over 20 years as a computer analyst before retiring. Most recently she enjoyed renovating her home. She was the daughter of an original ‘Shady Lady.’ Janet loved to travel and spend time with her friends and family. She was a beloved sister, sister-in-law and dear friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Janet is survived by her brother Raymond (Janet) Polstin of Benton Harbor; nephews, Bob, Mike (Chris) and niece Lori; great-nieces Brittany and Raven and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A private gathering of family and friends will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benton Harbor Humane Society.
