Laurie Draper

Laurie Draper, 63, of Coloma, passed away, Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her home. Laurie was born June 2, 1955 in Benton Harbor to Marino & Marie (Cermak) Cecchi.  She attended Lake Michigan Catholic High School, Class of 1973.  Laurie was a life-long area resident and owned & operated Lauren Marino Galleries in St. Joseph and Draper Image Group in Coloma.  Laurie loved the Venetian Festival, and served over the years in a number of capacities including festival photographer, member of the board of directors, member of the executive committee, and her last role as president of the organization.  She will be missed by all her friends and family who knew and loved her. Laurie is survived by her son Andrew “AJ” (Fiancee Jena) Draper of Kalamazoo; her brother Gary (Mary) Cecchi of Benton Harbor; and her sister Bonnie Veverka of Benton Harbor.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
