Christie's Obituary
Christie F. Blanchard, 40, of Sawyer, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at her home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018, at 11AM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Thomas Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Coloma Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, May 20, 2018, from 3PM until 5PM at the funeral home. Christie was born on June 9, 1977, to Arnold & Mary (Johnson) Blocker in Berrien Center, Michigan. On September 1, 1995, Christie married Michael Blanchard in St. Joseph. Christie was a wonderful artist and had passion for Jesus and life. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.
Christie is survived by her husband, Michael Blanchard; children Brenden, Devin & Jordan Blanchard; Father Arnold Blocker, Mother Mary Blocker; and brother David Blocker.
