Mary O. Wolf

Mary Wolf, 92, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Hanson Hospice in Stevensville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately with her family. Mary will be laid to rest at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Relief Services. Mary was born February 21, 1925 in Saugatuck, MI to Robert & Margaret (Menard) Olsen. She was a graduate of Saugatuck High School. On April 23, 1949 she wed Norbert Wolf in Evansville, IN. Mary worked as a secretary for 20 years for the St. Joseph Public Schools Transportation office. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was a devout Catholic. Mary was a volunteer at Shoreham Nursing Home for many years. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary’s life revolved around God, her faith and her family. She is survived by her children, Dr. Mary (Dr. John MacCart) Wolf of St. Joseph, Carolyn (Robert) Wise of Kalamazoo, Dr. Kenneth (Dr. Gunsel Avci-Wolf) Wolf of Waterford, MI, James Wolf of St. Joseph, William Wolf of Beaver Dam, WI, Susan (John) Sayers of Denver, CO, Norbert (Kimberley) Wolf of Rochester, N.Y., Robert Wolf of Wixom, MI; grandchildren Rebecca MacCart, Phillip MacCart, Timothy MacCart, Brandon Wise, Kristen Wise, Leyla Wolf, Eren Wolf, Matthew Wolf, Joseph Wolf, Bradley Wolf, Rockwell Wolf, Abigayle Wolf and Andrew Wolf; great-granddaughter Charlie Rose Wise and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Norbert in 2005 and brothers, Robert Olsen, Jack Olsen, Bill Green and Jim Green.
