Brian Joseph Elftman Cristobal

Brian Joseph Elftmann Cristobal, 21, of St. Joseph, MI passed away suddenly on Friday, January 19, 2018. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home – 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Brian was born in Kalamazoo, MI on November 19, 1996 to Daniel and Jennifer (Elftmann) Cristobal. He was a 2016 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Brian loved sports – football, basketball, wrestling, skateboarding, and the outdoors especially spending time at the beach. He was an avid culinarian and his aspiration was to become a chef. Brian deeply loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents – Daniel and Jennifer Cristobal of St. Joseph; his twin brother-Brendon and sisters-Danielle and Lauren; paternal grandparents-Atanacio and Isabele Cristobal; aunts- Cheryl Watson and Junelyn Konow; niece-Isabella Lopez Cristobal; and many great aunts and great uncles, cousins and great cousins.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Dolores Elftmann. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Weds., January 24, 2:00 P.M. at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma, MI. Visitation is on Tues., January 23, from 6:00-8:00P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to  Juvenile Diabetes Research.
