Michelle D. Thomas, 52, of Benton Harbor, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 29, 2017, at her home.
A Celebration of life Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 1 PM at New Paradise Baptist Church, 287 S. Crystal Ave., Benton Harbor, MI with Pastor R. Chester Gully officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior from 12-1 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to New Covenant Community Baptist Church and online through Givelify. Michelle was born on December 24, 1965, in Louisville, MS. She is survived by her children, Nicholas Walker of Kentwood, MI, Jessica Walker of Benton Harbor and Andrè Thomas, Jr. of Benton Harbor; grandchildren, Barack Walker, Domonick Walker, Bryce Walker and Carson Walker; siblings, Abba Gail Triplett, Sandra (Andrew) Belser, Sydney (Carol) Walker, Marshia Walker, Tamara Walker, Shanta Culpepper and best friends, Ronnie, Janet, Florence, Elaine and Teresa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Taylum and Ida (Triplett) Walker and brother, George Walker.
