Max Rogalski, 96, of Sodus, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Caretel Inn’s of Lakeland, St. Joseph.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10 AM, Monday, November 6, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware Ave., Benton Harbor. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Sodus Twp. Visitation will be from 1-3 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Max was born on January 1, 1921 in Eau Claire, MI. On September 19, 1942 he married the love of his life, Ardys Krugh in Eau Claire. Max was a fruit and vegetable farmer for 70 years. He always looked forward to sharing stories with his buddies at the “round” table at Hopper’s Restaurant in Berrien Springs. Max also enjoyed farming, dancing and most of all, spending time with his family.
Max is survived by his children, Larry Rogalski of Stevensville, Janet McConomy of St. Joseph and Suzanne (Mike) Jones of Stevensville; thirteen grandchildren, several loving great- grandchildren; great great-granddaughter and sister, Lillian Barchalk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Bernice; wife of 63 years, Ardys M. Rogalski; son, Richard Rogalski and siblings, James, Chester and Virginia.
