Beverly Bucha

Beverly “Jean” Bucha, 85, of Niles passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Hanson Hospice in Stevensville. Jean was born December 24, 1931 in Benton Harbor, MI to Everette & Helen (Coleman) Sande. She was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School. On August 11, 1950 she wed Lloyd Bucha in Crown Point, IN. Jean worked in the real estate business and in retail sales part time, but primarily was kept busy caring for her home and her six children. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. This hobby was something she was talented at and she would take her numerous creations to craft shows in the area. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Lloyd; children Colleen Syson of Summerfield, FL, Gwendolyn Crouch of Summerfield, FL, Royce Bucha of Linden, TN, Gordon (Anita) Bucha of Parsons, TN, James Bucha of Niles and Piper Pelley of Seabrook Island, SC; ten grandchildren; twenty three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank former daughter-in-law Janie Hagemann for her love and support. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Janah Bucha; sister Dixie Rennick, son-in-law John Syson and daughter-in-law Darlene. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place per Jean’s wishes. Memorial contributions may be made to Hanson Hospice in Stevensville.
