LuAnne Potter, 63, of St. Joseph, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in Niles, Michigan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 3 PM, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, Michigan, with Jason Schmidt officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, October 6, 2017, from 2 PM until 3 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. LuAnne was born on April 18, 1954, to Donald and Marcie (Fields) Shindeldecker in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was known for helping her family and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
LuAnne is survived by her sons, Scott (Kelly) Kovalska of Vicksburg, Michigan, and Jay Kovalska of St. Joseph, Michigan; mother, Marcie Schindeldecker, sister, Cathy Post of St. Joseph, and grandchildren Hart, Haiden, Koy, and Teagan Kovalska. She is preceded by her father Donald Shindeldecker.
