Joe Gaipa

Joe Gaipa was born in St. Joseph on February 22, 1978. He died on September 21, 2017, at the University of Michigan Hospital after complications of surgery. Joe left us to join his brother Alan, his Grandmother Gladys Gaipa and his Grandfather William Frantz. Joe had many accomplishments in his chosen field of computer aided design. In his youth he assisted in the family construction business.  Joe’s pride was his four daughters, Allie, Brooke, Carys and Kendall and his love for his Mother. Joe left his girls and his grieving parents, Ruth and Tim Gaipa, his grandmother Dolores Frantz, his grandfather Joseph S. Gaipa, Jr, his aunts, uncles, cousins and his niece, Mykena. Tim and Ruth thank you for your thoughts and prayers but request privacy in their time of grief. A private ceremony will be held to say good bye to Joe. His personality lit up the room and he will be greatly missed. Joe will be buried next to his brother in Hickory Bluff Cemetery.
