Teresa Linda Zandarski

Teresa Linda Zandarski, 69, of Berrien Springs, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017, at home with her family by her side. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Berrien Springs, MI. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Caring Circle Hospice. On October 5th, 1974, she married Julius “Dave” Zandarski Jr.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Berrien Springs her whole life.  She loved being outside, working on her flowers or spending time on the farm. She was an avid bird watcher and loved to see a robin or cardinal outside her windows. She liked to travel to northern Michigan or to southern states but insisted on only driving and loved going to country music concerts.  Her ultimate joy though came from her 2 grandchildren, Lauren and Andrew.  She never missed an opportunity to talk about them or show a picture of them and loved spending as much time as she could with them. Teresa is survived by her husband Dave of Berrien Springs; children Tami Maier Nelson of Berrien Springs and Tanya (Steve) Blanchard of Royal Oak, MI; and 2 grandchildren Lauren and Andrew Blanchard of Royal Oak, MI. Teresa was preceded in death by both her parents.
