Arlene Rose Skorupa

Arlene Rose Skorupa, 88, of Baroda, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Pine Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Arlene was born on April 12, 1929, to Vinus & Ida (Griffin) Dohm in Benton Harbor. She attended Benton Harbor High School. Arlene worked as Janitorial Staff for the Berrien Springs School System and retired in 1997 after many years of service. She enjoyed going for walking, completing word searched and playing slot machines at the casino. She also enjoyed crafts, such as crocheting and sewing. She was an avid Notre Dame fan. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. Arlene is survived by her children, Paulette (Frank) Renfrow of Baroda, Dennis Coar of St. Petersburg, FL and Doug (Linda) Coar of Newago, MI; grandchildren, Morgan and Kegan Renfrow, Shannon Pearsall and Shaun Christy, Erica Coar, David Moore Jr., Dusty Coar, Michelle Tomchak and Nicki Rosen; and  great-grandchildren, Gage and Makenzy Pearsall, Nikkita, Chloe and Rhylee Coar, Ian, Micah and Jade Coar, Andrew , Parker and Lucas Moore Jr., Danielle Bartkowiak and Paige Tomchak. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Margaret Renfrow; and siblings Wilma Kramp and Harold Dohm
