June M. Clauss, 93, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Woodland Terrace Assisted Living in Bridgman, MI. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Berrien County Cancer Service or Caring Circle Hospice. June was born June 6, 1924 in Stevensville, MI to Ray & Marie (Russell) Davis. On November 10, 1941 she married Wayne Clauss in Bridgman, MI. June worked at VM Corporation and the Watervliet Papermill before the family moved to Homestead, FL. There she worked as a cook for 12 years at Homestead High School until she retired. In 2005 the family relocated back to St. Joseph, MI. June enjoyed traveling; visiting 30 plus states and several countries. She was a skilled quilter and crocheter and enjoyed cooking, playing cards and tending to her flower gardens. June is survived by her daughters, Carol (Raymond) Conklin of St. Joseph and Margie (Steve) Chappel of Watervliet; son Wayne (Kathy) Clauss of Sister Lakes; five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Wayne on December 15, 2009, parents, and siblings, Millie Button, Rayella Riske and Louise Ott.
