David C. Stone

David C. Stone, 78, passed away at his home in Baroda, MI on June 3, 2017. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Respecting David’s wishes there will be no formal services. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and served with the 3rd Armored Rifle Battalion, 46th Infantry in the United States Army in Munich, Germany. David worked as a die cast operator for many years at Paramount Die Casting. He retired from New Products in 2004. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa McCrary and grandson, Michael McCrary of Augusta, ME; granddaughter, Sharon McCrary of Hartford, MI; sister, Shirley (Robert) Bancroft of Boca Raton, FL; nephew, Greg (Micki) Seel of Cassopolis, MI and niece, Pam (Jim) Keller of Oak Hill, VA. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Robinson of DeSoto, MO and Mary Alice Appel of Ocala, FL.
