Tim's Obituary

Henry “Tim” Fenderbosch, Jr., 69, of Stevensville, passed away, Friday, April 28, 2017 at his home.  A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at Berrien Hills Golf Club, 690 W. Napier Ave., Benton Harbor. Private family services will be held. He graduated from St. Joseph High School, Class of 1965 and from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science.  On March 15, 1980 he married the former Juanita Brow in St. Joseph.  Tim was employed as Service Program Manager with Berrien County Department of Human Services, retiring after thirty-seven years.  He gained employment as the Chief Operations Officer for Four Winds Casino and most recently as Township Manager for St. Joseph Charter Township, retiring in August 2016.  Tim served as president of the Lakeshore School Board for many years, was a member of the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor Elks Lodge #541, Phi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity and was named an honorary deputy of the Berrien County Sheriff Department. He served for many years as president of Blossomtime Board of Directors.  He is survived by his wife Juanita Brow Fenderbosch; four daughters-Tanya Fenderbosch of Austin, TX, Rachel (Chris) Martini of Boonton, New Jersey, Jackie (Mario) Reich & Julianne (Jim) Allen, both of St. Joseph; two sisters-Gretchen (Charles) Culbert of Harker Heights, TX, Dianne Barbery of Austin, TX; two brothers-in-law-John Camden of Austin, TX & Jim (Sally) Brow of Baroda, MI; numerous nieces & nephews; and his canine companion Willie.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Linda Camden, and his brother-in-law Bob Barbery.  Tim was a devoted husband, father & friend.  He loved serving his community and cheering on Notre Dame.
