Phyllis M. (Eubanks) Baker, 68, of Coloma, MI passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Starks and Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rusty Stark officiating.  Burial will follow at North Shore Memorial Gardens in Coloma.  Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Memorial donations may be made in Phyllis’s name to Hospice at Home or North Berrien Senior Center in Coloma.  Those wishing to sign Phyllis’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Phyllis was born on June 24, 1948, in Paragould, Arkansas to Leon & Maxine (Gholson) Eubanks.  She graduated from Benton Harbor High school in 1966. On April 27, 1968 she married Barry Baker at First Congregational Church in Benton Harbor.  In her spare time she enjoyed watching reality television, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Phyllis is survived by her husband Barry Baker; daughter Stacey Perry of Watervliet; grandchildren Alexis Perry of Kalamazoo, Ashley Perry and Sylvia Perry both of Watervliet; siblings Phillip (Ellen) Eubanks of Goldsboro, NC, twin sister Alice (Robert) Baker of Watervliet, LaNora (Randy) Lester of St. Joseph, Douglas (Lisa) Eubanks of Berrien Center; nephew, Ryan Young of Pennsylvania, niece Nichol (Jason) Durr of Mishawaka, IN; and her forever companion Lucy, her Shih tzu Yorkie. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents.
