Kelly Ketcham-Stoney, 40, of Grand Rapids (formerly of St. Joseph), passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017, at Spectrum Hospital, Grand Rapids.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 555 Delaware, Benton Harbor with Father Robert Creagan and Father Scott Nolan officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Garden in Coloma. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Kelly was born on March 12, 1977 in Benton Harbor to Thomas Ketcham, Jr. & Jane Wycoff. She attended Central Michigan University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications. For many years, Kelly worked in Brand Management for companies such as Whirlpool, Meijer, Bissel, and most recently Blue Flame Thinking. Kelly had a passion for photography; she loved capturing natures beauty. She was a proud member of St. Stephens Catholic Church, where she assisted with their marketing committee. She also enjoyed hosting parties. At these parties, many of the guests were able to try her creative desserts she loved attempting to make. Kelly also enjoyed macaroons, pizza and tacos. Most of all, Kelly’s greatest love in life was for her three beautiful children, she loved them more than anything. Kelly was a go-getter who lived life to its’ fullest. She was an incredible person who will be missed deeply by everyone.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Robert Payne; children, Ameryne & Bryar Stoney and Caroline Frances-Zephyr Payne; step-children, Wyatt & Joseph Payne; mother, Jane Wycoff; father, Thomas Ketcham, Jr.; sisters, Kimberly Salinas and Katie Seville (Thomas) Garland; first husband, Scott Stoney; nieces and nephews, Jordyn, Nathan, and Ava Salinas; uncles, Ron (Pam Kublick) Wycoff and John (Margaret) Wycoff; aunts, Chrissy, Sherie and Victoria Wycoff; grandparents, Pat Wycoff and Thomas (Velma) Ketcham
Kelly was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Wycoff; and uncles, Bob and David Wycoff.
