Annette Falkner

Annette Christy Falkner passed away peacefully on February 14, 2017 in Sarasota, Florida from complications of ALS. She is survived by her daughters Linda Christy and Kathleen Christy; her grandchildren Christy Nitz and Adam Nitz; her brother John LaMantia; her husband of 40 years, August (John) Falkner, Jr. as well as his six children and their children and grandchildren Annette was born in Chicago, IL on October 11, 1932 and is a graduate of Benton Harbor High School. She was a life-long resident of St. Joseph and Benton Harbor, Michigan. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 17, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware Dr. Benton Harbor with Msgr. Eugene Sears officiating. Annette will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to ALS research, the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
