Kamala Rao

St. Joseph, Michigan – Kamala V S Rao, wife of Surya V Rao, passed away on February 25, 2017.   She passed away with all four of her children by her side.  Mrs. Rao was born in Nuzvid, Andhra Pradesh, India. She migrated to Canada with her husband and children in 1975 and then migrated to USA in 1980 where she spent the rest of her years.  She is survived by her daughter UshaTumuluri and her husband Prasad who live in St. Joseph, Mi., daughter Ramaa Rao and her husband Jagannath who live in Boston, MA., son Shanker V Rao and his wife Sona who are based in Canada, and daughter Uma Challa and her husband Nagesh who are in Saratoga, Ca., five grandchildren (Prashant and his spouse Anjali, Suma and her spouse Sanjay, Varun, Sneha, and Bhavna), and three great grandchildren (Maanav, Darshan, and Rishab).  Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph.
