Bette Ruth Tenerelli

Bette Ruth (Wilfred) Tenerelli, 83, of Stevensville, MI passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. A Celebration of Life of service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 16, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph, MI with Father Thomas McNally officiating. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1951. On October 4, 1952 Bette married Nick Tenerelli Sr. at St. John’s Catholic Church, Benton Harbor, MI. Bette loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her loving family. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, listening to music and relaxing at the family’s cottage on Big Crooked Lake in Sister Lakes in the summer. Bette is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Nick; son Nick (Grace) Tenerelli II of Powder Springs, GA; daughter Sue (Mark) Moore of Stevensville; grandchildren, Rachel (Kevin) Yurk of Hull, IA, Colleen Moore of Door, MI, Angela Tenerelli of Lake City, FL and Melody (David) Scarborough of Chattanooga, TN; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson Michael Moore; brothers Herman Wilfred and Donald Wilfred and sister Evelyn Wilfred.
