Adelheid Schewe

Adelheid Schewe, 86, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at her home.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 16, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Brett Ehlke officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. On October 2, 1972 she married Hugo Schewe in St. Joseph. Adelheid worked for Gerber Baby Wear as a seamstress. Adelheid was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church since 1968.  Adelheid is survived by her husband Hugo Schewe; children Hans Missal, Erma Gerhman, and Marlene (Rudi) Berhens; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and son-in-law Dennis Radde. Adelheid was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Robert Missal, daughter’s Doris Missal and Monica Radde and sister’s Elizabeth Missal and, Magda Lill.
