Steven J. Molhoek

Steven J. Molhoek, 58, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away at Bronson Commons in Mattawan, MI on Saturday, November 12, 2016. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.   Steven was born on May 21, 1958 in St. Joseph, MI to Robert and Doris (Menish) Molhoek. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in 1976. Steven worked as a customer service representative for Insurance Management Service in St. Joseph, which his father formerly owned and operated. He also worked for the Herald Palladium as a photographer for 20 years. Steven was an avid University of Michigan, Detroit Lions and Chicago Cubs fan. He loved music, building and constructing many things by hand, and was an enthusiastic PERFECTIONIST.    Steven is survived by his son-Bradley James (Kandice) Molhoek of Buchanan; his grandson – William of Buchanan; his parents – Robert J. and Doris J. (Menish) Molhoek of St. Joseph; his Fiancee of 19 years – Mary Ann (Kedziora) Ahrens; brother – Timothy J. Molhoek of New Buffalo; sisters – Carolyn J. Molhoek of Kalamazoo and Barbara J. Molhoek of Battle Creek; nieces – Jennifer L. and Anna L.; nephew – Devon J.; and numerous cousins.   A Celebration of Life gathering will take place on Sat., Nov. 19, from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at the Masonic Lodge, 3661 E.
