Marian D. Ziebart

Marian D. Ziebart, 91, of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at home. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4333 Cleveland Ave., Stevensville with Pastor Martin Measel officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit Friday, October 28, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd. Marian was born September 1, 1925 in Perry, OK to Louis & Flora (Weiss) Schaefer. She was a graduate of Cleveland High School in 1944. On February 7, 1953 she married Robert Ziebart in St. Louis, MO. Marian worked for Frisco Railroad in St. Louis for 9 years as the secretary for the president of the company. She went on to work as the secretary at Christ Lutheran for 20 years. Marian loved her family dearly and was known to never miss sending a card on a birthday or special occasion. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Robert; children Ruth (William) Kudera of Rapid City, SD, son-in-law Joseph Klupp of Stevensville, Bob (Jeannette) Ziebart of Benton Harbor, Nancy (Gordon) Duke of St. Joseph, Ginny Jennings of St. Joseph; grandchildren Michael (Kirsten) Klupp, Stephanie (Loren) Ryman, Cliff (Darla) Zechiel, Sarah (Greg) Gambill, Nate Gargano, Andrew (Megan) Duke and Evan Ziebart; great-grandchildren Zack (Kaitlin) Brown, Mason Ryman, Katelyn Ryman, Sophia Gambill and Robert Gambill; sister Jody (Herb) Baden of St. Charles, MO and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Carol Klupp and brothers Louis and Allen Schaefer.
