Isabel Gulino

Isabel Gulino, 87, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her home.   A Mass will be Celebrated, Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:30AM at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware Ave., Benton Harbor with Father Michael Rejent officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. The Rosary will be recited at 7 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home or Berrien County Cancer Society. She married the love of her life Michael G. Gulino Sr. on July 1, 1950 in Benton Harbor. She worked for Whirlpool Corporation as well as Nationals Grocery for many years. Isabel was a great cook and baker she also enjoyed gaming, traveling, camping and loved spending time with her family.  Isabel is survived by her children, Diane Norton of Benton Harbor and Michael G. (Debra) Gulino, Jr. of St. Joseph; six grandchildren, Donald (Lani) Norton, Jr., James (Stephanie) Norton, Amber (Bryan) Glendening, Derek (Rosalinda) Morgan, Shannon (John) Ireland, and Michael (Amy) Gulino, III; four great-grandchildren Katelyn Glendening, Allison Glendening, Patrick Gulino, and Nora Gulino; and companion Norm Stokes.   Isabel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, son-in-law Donald “Jerry” Norton; and siblings Joseph BonJorn, Sam Bongiorno, Rose Gulino, Gen Pantelleria, and Elizabeth Bongiorno.
