Jason Ransom, 36, of Niles, passed away, Sunday, September 18, 2016.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorial donations may be made to Stevensville American Legion Post #568 or Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Jason was born January 11, 1980 in St. Joseph to Glenn & Rosemarie (Crompton) Ransom. He graduated from Lakeshore High School Class of 1998. Jason was employed as manager at Car-X in South Bend since 2005. A lover of all things car related, Jason did admit to having a favorite, the Camaro. He was a devoted father who cherished any time spent with his children. Jason was a member of Stevensville American Legion Post #568.
Jason is survived by his mother & step-father Rosemarie (Wayne) Huizenga of Sodus; his father & step-mother Glenn (Jackie) Ransom of Sodus; wife Ashlea Salisbury Ransom and their son Thomas; his former wife Jessica Kalin Ransom and their daughters Rory and Aubrey Ransom; and his sister Jessica (Jay) Dixon of Sterling Heights, MI.
