Rosemary E. Zech, 73, of Galien, passed away on August 21, 2016 at West Woods of Bridgman.
A Celebration of Life Service will take on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10 AM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Christopher Noffke officiating. Burial will follow the service at North Shore Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 5 PM until 7 PM at the funeral home. Rosemary was born on November 9, 1942 in Benton Harbor to Kenneth & Martha Polmanteer. On October 28, 1978, Rosemary married the love of her life Lavone Zech. Rosemary had a passion for art. She was a self-taught artist who loved to paint with oils, knit, crochet, and needlework. She was a member of the Art Guild and was involved in many crafts where she taught, demonstrated, and sold Pretty Punch. Rosemary also enjoyed bowling.
Rosemary is survived by her husband of 38 years, Lavone; daughter, Dawn (John) Hudson of Kenosha, WI; step-children, Todd (Patty) Zech of Sawyer, Deonna (Mark) Fontaine of Jacksonville, FL, and Craig Zech of Galien; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Ken & Martha and her brother, Kenny Polmanteer.
