Kenneth Stanley

Kenneth T. Stanley, 45, of Stevensville, MI passed away Tuesday August 23, 2016 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph with friends by his side. Even though Kenny had a lifelong battle with heart problems, it was his kidneys that failed him. Kenny was born June 25, 1971 in Elkhart, IN to Danny Stanley and Elizabeth “Lisa” (Yeager) Lambert. He enjoyed working as a cook at the local restaurants: Getaway, Navaho and O’Malleys.  When he could, he loved to travel.  Recently Kenny enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog Pettey, family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Dakota Brink and Danny Blankenship; step-daughter Chelsea Turner; dog Pettey; sister, Ruth Braxton of Detroit, MI; half-sisters, Margie (Dale) Anglin of South Bend, IN, Randi Nickles (Brocc) Chavis of S.C., Chelsea (Gerardo) Evans, Tucson, AZ; half-brother, Joe (Lucy) Phillipson of Odessa, TX; and mother Lisa Lambert of Odessa, TX. Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Danny Stanley, in August, 2007; sister, Cornia Hart, in May 2007; and half-brother, David Nickles. Per his wishes, Kenny has been cremated.
