John Philip Pincek

John Philip Pincek, 63, of St. Joseph, MI passed away from cancer on Sat., August 20, 2016 at his home with his wife Julia by his side. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sat., Sept. 10, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church St., St. Joseph, MI.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Hanson Technology Center at Lake Michigan College which is associated with Eagle Technologies. Friends wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com John was born in Three Rivers, MI on December 2, 1952 to the late John and Sabina (Cibulka) Pincek. He was a 1971 graduate of Three Rivers High School, and received his associates degree in engineering from Glen Oaks Community College. On October 13, 1978 in Three Oaks, MI he married Julia Lynn Karsen. John was a mechanical design engineer at Eagle Technologies in Bridgman. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; a member of the Michigan City Yacht Club; and was currently President of the Channel Bluff Condominium Association. John and Julia loved taking their boat the ‘Lydia Rose’ out on Lake Michigan; and he enjoyed music and playing his guitar. John is survived by his wife Julia; his daughter Mia; grandson Jackson; and two sisters – Rosemarie “Rosie” (Ken) Stanard and Regina (Doug) Beckle both of Three Rivers, MI; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved canine companion Lilliebelle.
