Roy Scarbrough

Roy Scarbrough, 74, of Eau Claire, MI passed away on Sat., July 9, 2016 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Roy was born on May 6, 1942 in Calhoun City, MS to the late Rellen and Gatha (Bevill) Scarbrough. On February 1, 1963 in New Madrid, MO he married Linda Tipton. Roy was the owner/operator of the Millburg Red & White Feed Store since July 1979. He also worked at the former Avion Coach as a foreman, and drove his own semi-truck for 20 years from the Upper Peninsula in Michigan to Kentucky. Roy is survived by his wife Linda; his son Ricky Lynn; sisters Diane (Bobby) McDonald of Guntown, MS and Rita (John Allen) Leachman of Bruce, MS; and many nephews and nieces including his partner Logan. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Wednesday, July 13, 1:00P.M., at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home in St. Joseph with Rev. Richard Kiser and Doug Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Millburg Cemetery. The Scarbrough family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service from 11:00A.M.-1:00P.M.
