Erika Weber

Erika Weber, 72, of Benton Harbor, MI, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 P.M. Monday, June 6, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., with Pastor Michael Fa’asoa officiating. Friends may visit from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home. She emigrated from Germany to the United States in 1951 at the age of eight. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1962. She then attended St. Joseph Beauty College. She was a cosmetologist and worked at the Benton Harbor Meijer for many years. On July 28, 1966, she married Leonard Weber in Benton Harbor, MI. Erika was an avid shopper who enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.  Erika is survived by her husband Leonard Weber; daughters Trina Swank and Erika (Robert) Parker; son Derik Weber; four grandchildren Nick, Zach, Katie and Colin; siblings Lona (Walter) Bumbulis, Trudy Enders, Herb Jahnke and Ozzie Janke. Erika was preceded in death by her parents and niece Karen Bumbulis.
