Judy was born June 30, 1937 in Chicago, IL to John N. and Imogene M. (Brown) Fetzer. Judy graduated from Evanston Township High School in 1955. On December 20, 1958 she married Robert “Bob” Fogarty in Evanston, IL. She attended Northwestern University and graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in 1959. She volunteered at the local libraries in almost every community she lived in. She was a Den Mother, Brownie leader and a PTA volunteer. She played the piano and pursued her interest in art by taking tile and painting classes and producing works that hang in her house. She enjoyed travel including some hitchhiking in Europe in her college years, business travel with Bob and travel during retirement. She was an excellent cook and took pleasure in gardening. However, most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
