Kai Patrick Meskill

Kai Patrick Meskill went home to be with his Lord & Savior shortly after birth on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Ann Arbor, MI. Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 269-556-9450. A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will follow at Coloma Cemetery.  Kai was born on June 8, 2016 to Neil Meskill & Lindsay Veal.  Kai was already known as a little superhero; although he wasn’t with us long, he made quite the impression and filled his family with love.  Kai will be dearly missed by all. Kai is survived by his parents, Neil & Lindsay; uncles, Mark (Myria) Veal & Noah Meskill; aunts, Arin (Thomas) Hejduk, Amanda (Fernando Hernandez) Veal & Hannah Meskill; grandparents, Dora Veal, Kevin Stewart and Tim & Susan Meskill; and many special cousins. Kai was preceded in death by many loving great-grandparents. These are my footprints, so perfect and so small. These tiny footprints never touched the ground at all. Not one tiny footprint, for now I have wings. These tiny footprints were meant for other things. You will hear my tiny footprints, in the patter of the rain. Gentle drops like angel’s tears, of joy and not from pain. You will see my tiny footprints, in each butterflies’ lazy dance. I’ll let you know I’m with you, if you just give me the chance. You will see my tiny footprints, in the rustle of the leaves. I will whisper names into the wind, and call each one that grieves. Most of all, these tiny footprints, are found on Mommy & Daddy’s hearts. ‘cause even though I’m gone now, we’ll never truly part. ~Author Unkown
