Willie Lynn Tippy

Willie Lynn Tippy, 64, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at his home.  Per Willie’s request he will be cremated. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Those wishing to leave their condolences may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com.  Willie was born May 20, 1951 to Howard & Launa (Bailey) Tippy in Dyess, Arkansas. He served his country in the United States Army. Willie worked in construction for many years. On February 12, 1972 he married the love of his life Diana Parker at Grace Lutheran Church in St. Joseph. Willie was an avid golfer and also enjoyed painting, bowling, playing ball, carpentry and boating.  Willie is survived by his wife Diana Tippy; three children Kristina Gitersonke, Sheila Tippy-Brown, and Jeff Tippy; six grandchildren Bailey Tippy, Michael Tippy, Brianna Brown, Devon Gitersonke, Jakub Gitersonke, and Emalie Gitersonke. Willie was preceded in death by his parents.
