John R. Koning

John R. Koning, 62, of Benton Harbor, MI, passed away, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, MI. A time of sharing will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 5:30-6:30 P.M. John was born August 26, 1953 in Ridgewood, NJ to William & Nellie (Vriesema) Koning. On September 27, 1986 he married the former Linda M. Cicero in Baldwin, NY. He worked for many years as a production supervisor in the advertisement printing field. John enjoyed being a fix it man and helping anyone in need. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. John is survived by his loving wife Linda of Benton Harbor; daughters, Kaitlyn and Kimberly Koning of Benton Harbor and his brother William (Susan) Koning Jr. of Olathe, KS. John was preceded in death by his parents.
