Frances Elnora Pudell

Frances E. Pudell, 89, of Eau Claire passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Oak Crest Adult Foster Care in Niles. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 3713 Naomi Rd., Sodus, with Pastor Robert Duehlmeyer officiating. Inurnment will follow at Coloma Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 9 AM until the time of the service. Frances was born on September 4, 1926 in Coloma to Frank & Dorothy (Webb) Harris. Frances grew up living and working on her family farm. On December 13, 1947, Frances married the love of her life, Arthur Pudell, in Coloma. Together the two continued to farm and began their family. Frances loved being outside; she was most happy when she was fishing and camping. She also enjoyed traveling. When time would allow Frances and Arthur would pack up and head to the western states. Her hobbies included painting, knitting, and quilting. Frances was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Frances is survived by her children, Rebecca (Al) Christmann of Phoenix, AZ, Dale (Lynn) Pudell of Watervliet, James (Marjorie) Pudell, of Eau Claire, and Randy (Carla) Pudell of Breaux Bridge, LA; grandchildren, Michael, Angela, Chad, Justin, Rachel, Michael, Michelle, Steven, Ellen, Eric, Audrey, and Nathan; and 15 great-grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Theresa (Fred) Schilling; sister, Lucille Pudell and infant brother.
