Alma Louise Ramsey

Alma Louise (Milleman) Ramsey, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor LaVerne Davenport officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit from 10:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home. She was a graduate of Butler Business College and worked in Administration for Central Chemical and Butler Area High School. Alma enjoyed playing golf and bridge and doing arts and crafts. She especially loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Alma is survived by her daughter Cyndie (Dave) Russell of Manistee, MI; son James (Mila) Ramsey of Orange, CA and grandchildren Meghan (Jake May) Russell of Byron Center, MI and Braden (Kristina Pantoja – Fiancee) Russell of Grand Rapids, MI and special friends Linda Hornbuckle and Mary Ann Raschke.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Loyal Elzie Ramsey; sisters Ruth Schoeffel, Jane Hutchinson and Mary Keller and brother William Milleman.
