Lillian Scott

Lillian Scott, 86, of Stevensville, MI went home to Jesus on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN, with her youngest daughter by her side. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2673 John Beers Rd., in Stevensville, of which she was a member, with Pastor Jonathan Kruschel officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Lillian was born October 19, 1929 in St. Joseph, to the late Alvin and Martha (Nimtz) Wedde. On December 21, 1946, Lillian was united in marriage to Eugene F. Scott, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 5, 1998. The family wishes to thank Brookdale, South Bend and Memorial Hospital, South Bend for their care and compassion that was given to Lillian. Lillian is survived by her children, Eugene (Sunnie) Scott, Jr. of West Richland, WA, Teresa (Michael) Feagins of Manistee, MI, and Shirley (Kurt) Guse of South Bend, IN; eight grandchildren, James Menera, Crystal Benson, Matthew Feagins, Stephanie Feagins, Kristin Guse, Keegan Guse, Kamden Guse, Kellan Guse; one great-grandchild, Hannah Benson; sisters, Lucille (Arthur) Peterson, Sophie (Harvey) Shull, Jr. and Eleanor (Louis) Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, grandson Trey Scott and brother Raymond Wedde.
