Helen F. White

Helen F. White, 88, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago, IL. Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M., Thursday, March 10, 2016 at B’nai Shalom Cemetery located at 1401 S. Crystal Ave. Benton Harbor, MI with Rabbi David Nelson officiating. The family would like to extend the invitation to others to join them at  B’nai Shalom synagogue until approximately 8:00 PM following the graveside funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple B’nai Shalom.  Those wishing to sign Helen’s guestbook may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com. Helen was born December 10, 1927 in Detroit, MI to Phillip & Sadye (Hoffman) Golden.  She was a graduate of Denby High School in Detroit in 1945.  On February 25, 1956 she wed William White in Detroit, MI.  Helen worked as an office key punch operator for Spartan Foods for 12.5 years.   She is survived by her son Bradford “Brad” (Carol) White of Evanston, IL and Patrick “Pat” (Toni) White of Canton, MI; grandchildren Elizabeth, Nicholas, Abby, Hannah, Christopher, Natalie, and Ryan and great grandson Cameron.  She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband William White on March 16, 1999; son Larry White, brothers Robert Golden and William Golden and sister Maxine Nosanchuk.
