Michael Racz, 56, of Brighton, MI, formerly of Stevensville, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in Brighton, MI. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., with Fr. James Morris officiating. Friends may visit from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, February 5, 2016 at the funeral home. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Joseph Mercy Hospice of Livingston County or Excel Employment Options. Michael graduated from Blossomland Learning Center in 1985. He worked at Martin’s Supermarket for many years. He was a member of St. Joseph Church South where he was an usher. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, watching John Wayne Movies and the WWF. He was also an avid Lakeshore Lancer fan, as well as the Chicago Cubs and University of Michigan. Michael is survived by his mother Rose Racz; sisters Mary (Ken) Oran of Brighton, MI, Michele (Ken) Zandarski of Benton Harbor, Teresa (David) Case of Canton, OH, and Jacky (Steve) Hallenbeck of Cape Coral, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his father.
