Adolph Edward Loikits

Adolph E. Loikits, Jr., 81, of St. Joseph passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at his home. Per Adolph’s request cremation has taken place. Adolph was born in St. Joseph to Adolph, Sr., & Anna (Burke) Loikits. He graduated from St. Joseph High School. Following graduation, Adolph enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served our country from 1957 until 1959. Upon returning home, Adolph worked and retired as a brick layer for Pearson Construction. He was a member of the St. Joseph-Benton Harbor Elks Lodge #541 and the St. Joseph F.O.P. Lodge 96. Adolph was an avid golfer. When it was too cold to play outside he enjoyed bowling. Adolph is survived by his children, Kelly (Tammy Schulz) Loikits of St. Joseph, and Teri (Mark) Carter of Fairfield, CA; granddaughter, Jessica Loikits; and brother, Raymond (Ann) Loikits. Adolph was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph, Sr., & Anna; and sister, Rita Pinciauskas.
