Irene Hafeli Biasell

Irene Hafeli Biasell, 95, passed away at the Whitcomb in St. Joseph, MI on December 11. She was married to LaVerne Robert Biasell for nearly 66 years and lived in Grosse Pointe and Port Austin, MI and Englewood, FL. She was a homemaker, very involved with her churches and a dedicated volunteer, at one time running the bloodmobile for the city of Detroit.  She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006. Survivors include four children: Anne Biasell [Barry] Weldon; Thomas Paul [Pamela] Biasell; James LaVerne [Patricia] Biasell; and Lynn Biasell [Freeborn] Kellogg; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family members.  A memorial service will take place at the family’s summer home at a later date.
