Delores Joyce Forker

Delores Sprague Forker, 75, of Benton Harbor, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Don Fulton officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. before the service. Memorial donations may be made to the family or donor’s choice.  Those wishing to share a memory of Delores may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com.    Delores was born in New York City, NY on June 21, 1940 to Samuel and Fannabel (Cole) Sprague.  On January 23, 1958, she married the love of her life Jerry Lee Forker in Danbury, CT.  She worked in the cafeteria at Whirlpool over 10 years.  Delores enjoyed camping.  Her favorite pastime, however, was sharing her favorite Folgers Coffee with her family and many friends. Delores is survived by five sons Charles (Kim) Forker of Benton Harbor, Jerry (Janet) Forker of Benton Harbor, Timothy (Jackie) Forker of Coloma, David Forker of St. Joseph and Todd Forker of Benton Harbor; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and one sister Nancy (Joe) Dunkel of Benton Harbor.  She was preceded by her parents, husband Jerry Lee Forker (2009) and a brother Sammy Sprague.
