Monica was born October 1, 1928 in Evansville, IN to Mattie Mae and Harold Reynolds. She married George August Ellspermann in 1949 and was happily married for 62 years. They were blessed with four children during their marriage, Jane (Mike) Cunningham, Dan (Marla) Ellspermann, Tom (Cynthia) Ellspermann and Monica Lynne (Dave) Gingrich.

After her children were grown, she worked at Meskimen’s Gift Shop in St. Joseph and volunteered at Mercy Memorial Hospital (Lakeland). She enjoyed playing in the 9-Hole League at Berrien Hills Country Club and loved to shop. She never missed a 10% off sale.
She is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George and her son Dan.
We would like to extend a special gratitude to Fooko, Lisita and the Hospice at Home team Ruthie, Erica and Kellee. In addition, we would like to thank Right at Home and Comfort Keepers.
