Judith's Obituary

Judith Hafley, 77, of Benton Harbor, MI, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph with Pastor David Colp officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Church of God Benton Heights or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Those wishing to share a memory of Judith online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Judith was born June 21, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Steven and Jennie (Kubik) Mika. She graduated from Baroda High School and attended Western Michigan University. Judith was a homemaker who kept a busy schedule caring for her family. In her spare time she enjoyed animals and wildlife especially humming birds and orioles. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them at their sporting events. Judith is survived by her loving companion Henry Bahr; son Glen (Pam) Greiffendorf; daughter Julie (Blan) Page; three grandchildren Stacy (Adam) Whitt, Abby Greiffendorf and Grant Greiffendorf; and two great grandchildren Hattie and Finley Whitt. Judith was preceded in death by her parents.
