DeVante D. Fisher, 21, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015.
A Service of Home Going will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Fellowship Baptist Mission Church, 171 N. Euclid Ave. Benton Harbor with Rev. William Whitfield officiating. Burial to follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Tuesday at the church. DeVante was born in St. Joseph, MI June 11, 1994 to Antwaune Fisher & Lashon Williams. He was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School in 2012. DeVante worked as a Warehouseman at Coloma Frozen Foods as well at Ballard Sewer & Construction with his step-father Eric Ballard. He enjoyed listening to music, playing and watching basketball and working with his hands. DeVante was a very likable person with a vibrant personality. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
He is survived by his father Antwaune Fisher of Benton Harbor; mother & step-father Lashon & Eric Ballard of Benton Harbor; sisters Nakiara Williams of Benton Harbor and Aliyah Fisher of Grand Rapids; stepbrothers Eric Ballard, Jr. Korey Ballard and Javione Ballard all of Benton Harbor; grandparents Roy (Cathie) Askew, Sr. of Benton Harbor, Barbara Williams of Benton Harbor, Chester Williford of Benton Harbor and Patricia Ballard of Hartford; girlfriend Kayla Kelly; best friend William Newton; special cousin Teiryne Vaughn and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Robert Williams and grandfather Harold Ballard.
