Brenda Lucker

On Thursday, November 12, 2015 early morning, Brenda Lucker’s valiant fight with lung cancer ended. She passed into Heaven’s gate, ending her earthly life and beginning the life with her Savior. Brenda leaves behind her loving husband, Michael; her beloved daughter, Alyssa and son-in-law Daniel Rawls, and granddaughter, Hayley Anne; her son, Richard and his wife Michelle and their children, Katherine, Alexandria & Aaron. She is also survived by her aunt, two nieces and their families. During Brenda’s life on earth it was her passion for books that soothed her spirit. She was very outgoing and friendly to co-workers and friends. She will be remembered for her generous nature. She now joins all her deceased family in heaven: her grandma and grandpa, Fred and Naomi Laman; her mother, Dorris Burns; her sister, Beverly Barwick; niece, Jenifer Mielke; and great-nephews, Tom Hennesse and Andrew Windsor. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services in St. Joseph.
