Chantel's Obituary
Dr. Chantel Laran Sawyer Lumpkin gave up the Holy Spirit at 5:00 AM, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph. Michigan. She was a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Chantel is survived by her mother, Mosquictious Harper; stepfather, Elder Walter Harper; and brothers Dandral & Duemonn Sawyer. A Celebration of Homegoing will take place at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 7th at Journey Church, 1185 Maynard Dr., Benton Harbor, with Pastor T.J. Grooms officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial scholarship fund has been established in Chantel’s name and donations may be made payable to Dr. Chantel Laran Sawyer Lumpkin or Mosquictious Harper and mailed to PO Box 147, Stevensville, MI 49127.
