Linda Lou Sylvester

Linda Lou Sylvester, 69, of Fort Myers Beach, FL, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, MI after a courageous battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life gathering for family and friends will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at the Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park, Fremont, Indiana.  Memorial donations may be made in Linda’s name to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, Saint Joseph, Michigan, 49085.  Those wishing to sign Linda’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Linda was born in Ligonier, IN and lived in Fort Myers Beach, FL where she managed her own business for over 20 years. Linda is survived by her two children Kimberly McCoy of Stevensville, MI and Kristopher (Christine) McCoy of Plymouth, MN and five grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Dianna (Earl) Raskosky of Hamilton, IN; Steve (Donna) Sylvester of Angola, IN; Debra (Tony) Rodriguez of Angola, IN; Raymond Sylvester of Fremont, IN; Jill (Matt) Perry of Fremont, IN; and Kelly Moreau of Garrett, IN along with many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Raymond L. Sylvester and Helen R. (Hunter) Sylvester.
